Launching Today: Before Homosexuals Educational Campaign – Your Help Needed To Bring LGBT History Into The Classroom!

Today is an exciting day for our film, Before Homosexuals!

In conjunction with our benefit screening in San Francisco outlined below, we are proudly launching our Seed and Spark campaign to promote the educational version of Before Homosexuals to colleges and universities around the world and hope that you can help us. Please click on the picture below to learn more about the campaign and how you can help tell your fellow Americans that hate has no place here, by making more young people aware of the positive contributions LGBT people have made to society since 2000 BC, while having the chance to acquire some unique rewards, including many one-of-a-kind works of historical relevance, so do some of your holiday shopping for your loved ones and yourself while helping a good cause!

We hope you will be joining us this afternoon at the Roxie Theater for a special benefit screening of “Before Homosexuals: From Ancient Times to Victorian Crimes.” This screening will benefit the important work done by the local GLBT Historical Society. The 32-year-old GLBT Historical Society maintains one of the largest collections of LGBTQ historical material in the world, including approximately 1,000 hours of film and video, 1,000 hours of recorded sound, and more than 500 oral histories. The society also sponsors San Francisco’s GLBT History Museum. This event will support the society’s video and film assets, including its oral history and digitizing projects.
